My Eye Collection - Inkscape Practice

A series of eyes done in Inkscape, vector lines shown below.

In no particular order, we have a kitten, a rattlesnake, a human, a frog, a wolf, a dog, a penguin, a turtle, a spider, and a rat.

Some of these took about 5 seconds while others did not (they took longer[than 5 seconds]{much longer}]).

It was good to do these as practice - it was an exploration of both my own limitations with vector art as well as forcing me to consider how to embrace those limitations; as an example, even if I were to draw all the beautifully intricate textured surfaces of a snake's eyes, what would be the point of it?  Actually most eyes have a fair amount of intricate detail that I just wasn't interested in representing, so I had to consider how I might stylistically present the eye so that it at least seemed representative of that particular animal's eye.  Worthwhile time spent.

I'm not sure whether or not eyes are windows to the soul, but if so - man, penguins sure are angry.
