I think that's a good idea, I might play with it a bit more. My problem while animating this is that while I have plenty of references for people and four-legged animals to work from, I couldn't find a good side reference for a bird/dinosaur; I ended up just imagining how it would walk, then how it would walk if it was also heavy and mechanical, and this is the end result. :) First try, and no doubt a learning experience that'll help later on.

Lol no worries. A chicken could be your best bet for a running dino/bird reference. There should be some in Youtube I suppose. If you want it heavy you can try slow down the pacing, pausing after every step, with the body dropping lower than usual. But then it'll still stick better to the bird concept if you make it a little more agile. ;)

Anyway Flash is pretty easy to learn so I don't doubt you'd perfect this after some practice. Good luck. :D
