It would be a case of going back through the 7 different animation types (everything's a GIF, even though compiled in Flash), so 40+ frames, and modifying each. I took the artistic freedom bit kinda literally.
What I'd suggest is to identify within your own work the defining, necessary elements of what you'd call your Robot Samurai. I can see in your different drawings that there is an element of traditional clothing to them, so I'd include that if that's partially what defines the look for you. This is mostly a sample, you can use it if you'd like, just to show to potential interested parties.
I've heard of Rayman so I just looked it up on Wikipedia and saw some gameplay footage on Youtube. It's slickly animated and has a great visual design to it but honestly I'm not one for jump puzzle solving; I really just want to blow things up in my games. lol
I do like a strategic element to games though, and definitely love it when RPG elements get incorporated, so my ideal sidescroller would be something along the lines of the old Ghosts 'n Goblins, with inventory management and leveling up.
Actually, I didn't even think I'd get these animations done over the weekend, because on Friday a friend introduced me to the game Gemcraft... but Sunday I told myself to sit down and get this done.
